ABCC provides an opportunity for me to connect with colleagues from across the country who are devoted to the success of students of color in higher education. As a result of my participation, I have been able to share ideas, ask questions, benchmark with other cultural center professionals and enable me to position myself as an expert in the field and be a resource to others. ABCC has been an invaluable resource for the Purdue Black Cultural Center. We have developed exemplary programs utilizing the ABCC Speakers Bureau, successfully recruited professional staff members via the job bank and published articles in the ABCC newsletter on a consistent basis.

Renee A. Thomas, Former Director of the
Purdue University Black Cultural Center
